Our A-cam op, Stefan Von Bjorn has been teaching me all about steady cam operating the past week and a half, and gave me the unique opportunity to wear his rig today. Incomprehensibly more challenging to pilot than it appears, not to mention trying to get the shot while maneuvering a delicate rig that puts anywhere from 80-150 pounds (depending on camera type, attachments, and lens) of weight on your hips and lower back (which feels like you are on a planet with double gravity)… Thanks Stefan!
